Tai Chi and life

What is Tai-Chi?

“Chi/Qi/Ki” can be described as Universal Energy, vital life force energy or simply energy. Tai-Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that practices meditative movements in graceful fashion with the aim of fighting stress and maintaining the balance of Chi energy. Tai-Chi is all about free-flowing, gentle movements which is great because it means that its more inclusive than your average form of exercise-Anyone can take part! Even just a few minutes a day can quickly add up to noticable changes in stress, mood, and energy levels.

I am a tender 74 years old and am lucky(?) that I have no aches,. pains, or physical challenges. I put it down to many years of Chi Gong and Tai Chi practice. Oh, and a lovely wife who ensures I don’t always eat the things I like!

Please try Tai Chi and, if you are still not sure, have a read of my book available on Amazon or via: chigongnow.com

  1. Howdy! This blog post could not be written much better!
Going through this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He continually kept talking about this. I’ll forward this information to him.
Fairly certain he’ll have a great read. Thank you for sharing!

  2. Now is the time for Tai Chi / Chi Gong with stresses created daily from box ticking banks, call centres, piped musac when put on hold for ever! It 11.34 am in the UK and I have acheived nothing except have two arguments with a bank who just about fall short of calling you a liar because theier systems don’t agree with your own details etc. This is a great reason to continue daily practice of internal martial arts!!!
